This year our focus is to advocate the diversification & inclusion of women in the information security space. We are inviting beginner women computer science majors, engineers, and technologists to come join us in exploring opportunities within security.

Join us for a series of talks, workshops, and networking with professionals in the information security space.

Attendees will be introduced to the basics of reverse engineering Android applications. Hands-on exercises will focus on a number of techniques to analyze and explore security features of applications and networks throughout the day. Talks will focus on security fundamentals as well as personal experiences of professional women in security.

Cheryl Biswas, aka @3ncr1pt3d, is currently Project Manager, Cyber Security, with Cycura, an offensive security firm in Toronto, Canada. Previously, she was a Cyber Security Consultant with KPMG and worked on GRC, privacy, breaches, and DRP. She has an ITIL certification and degree in Political Science. Her areas of interest include APTs, mainframes, ransomware, ICS SCADA, and building threat intel. She actively shares her passion for security in blogs, in print, on podcasts, and speaking at conferences.
Opheliar Chan is a Principal Security Consultant at Security Compass Ltd., currently focused on application security, SDLC process consulting and implementations, security program consulting, penetration testing/vulnerability assessments, and related. She has previous experience in security research, web application development, and technical writing. She has spoken at a number of conferences and events about software security, and is co-lead of the OWASP Toronto Chapter where she attempts to explain security concepts in an accessible, FUD-free manner."
 Michelle is Sr. Manager, Security Intelligence Engineering for Lookout. She has over 15 years of experience building enterprise grade software for a variety of market verticals. Her focus has always been on backend system but she is a jack of all trades when it comes to anything distribute systems related.Â
